Etymol WEC
The device is an elongated vessel enaged in a triangular truss and submerged about 7 meters underwater and intended for offshore applications. The working principle is based on the absorption of the pressure differential driven by passing waves which generates a flow of seawater inside the vessel. For every 60-m in length of the full-scale design a vertical axis turbine is installed to absorb energy from the fluid flow. These vertical axis turbines are used to generate power.
