Utah FORGE Wells

1. Wells Updated Temperature and Pressure Logs (June 2021) This dataset includes updated temperature and pressure logs for Utah FORGE wells 56-32, 78-32, and 58-32. This data was acquired in June 2021.
2. Temperature Surveys (September 2022): This is an Excel spreadsheet containing deep well temperature data for wells 58-32, 78-32, 56-32, 16A(78)-32 and 78B-32. It also contains charts and comparisons. This dataset was generated on September 16th, 2022.
3. Wells Wow2 and Wow3 Groundwater Monitoring Data his dataset includes ground water level data for Utah FORGE Phase 2c ground water monitoring wells Wow2 and Wow3. The readme file explains the fields contained in the included Excel spreadsheet and contains the coordinates for the wells. The Excel spreadsheet contains raw data taken directly from downhole transducers and includes fields labeled Date, Time, Level, and Temperature.
4. Updated Phase 2C Well Location Coordinates (2020) Utah FORGE has been established to develop, test, and improve the technologies and techniques required to develop EGS-type geothermal resources. Drilling of the first of two deep deviated wells, 16A(78)-32, will begin in the second half of 2020. This well will serve as the injection well for the injection-production well pair that will form the heart of the laboratory. This submission contains an archive of well location data within the Roosevelt Hot Springs geothermal area. An Excel spreadsheet is included containing updated GPS data for Utah FORGE wells drilled during Phase 2C (56-32, 68-32, 78-32). This data was collected over time by the Utah Geological Survey and contains all coordinates collected and the final averaged XY coordinates in both Longitude and Latitude and UTM Zone 12, NAD83. Elevation is also included. GIS shapefiles with well points are provided in the archive.
5. Phase 2C Seismic Observation and Ground Water Well Data and Well Locations This submission contains the following data associated with Utah FORGE Phase 2C within the Roosevelt Hot Springs geothermal area including (1) an ArcGIS shapefile with well locations for wells 58-32, 78-32, 68-32, OH-3, OH-4, WOW-2, and WOW-3. Well 58-32 is the deep test well, wells 68-32 and 78-32 are seismic test wells, and the OH and WOW wells were used for ground water monitoring and temperature gradient logging (2) drilling reports, lithologic logs, daily drilling reports, cuttings logs, and drilling photos for seismic monitoring wells 78-32 and 68-32 and (3) raw and post-processing temperature logs for wells OH-3, OH-4, WOW-2, and WOW-4. The archive also includes a README.txt file, which contains an explanation of the data and how it was acquired, and a text file with coordinates for the logged wells.
6. Updated Well, Well Pad, and Seismic Station GPS Coordinates December, 2021 This is a CSV spreadsheet containing UTM and Latitude and Longitude coordinates and elevations for Wells 78-32, 78B-32, 56-32, 58-32, 68-32, and 16A(78)-32 and seismic stations BOR1, BOR2, BOR3, FOR1, FOR2, FOR5, FOR6, FOR 7, FOR8, FORK, FORU, FORW, and FORB. These are from a GPS survey conducted by the Utah Geological Survey completed in December, 2021.

7. Regional Well Locations This archive contains a GIS point feature shapefile that shows the locations of wells in the general region of the Utah FORGE project, near Roosevelt Hot Springs. This includes Utah FORGE deep well 58-32 and wells for which data has been uploaded to the Geothermal Data Repository. The attribute table has a field that contains well names.
8. Beaver Basin Wildcat Well Lu Lu State #1 Dip Meter and Neutron Density Logs This dataset contains Schlumberger dip meter and neutron density logs for Lu Lu State #1 wild cat well which is located in the Beaver Basin, Beaver County, Utah. There is also a text file with well location coordinates.
