ZOEX Power Black Sea

ZOEX’s 100kW prototype wave energy converter—previously trialled in Aberdeen Harbor—was commissioned in August 2025 for a year-long deployment in the Black Sea at Ordu, Turkey. The project is funded by private investment from Scottish angel syndicate Equity Gap, the University of Strathclyde, Scottish Enterprise, and Innovate UK.
