Ocean-2 Puget Sound Trial
Panthalassa's Ocean-2 overtopping wave energy converter was deployed for a three week trial from Everett Ship Repair during February 2024. The trial tested the device's energy generation capabilities, satellite communication, and other systems required for full operation. The device has a long footprint, and and was towed in a horizontal position before being turned upright at the deployment location.
