LHD Endeavor Deployment
The Endeavor was launched at Xiushan Island, Zhoushan, Zheijang February 24 2022 as an addition to LHD New Energy Corporation's tidal demo which had begun in 2016. At the time of deployment the turbine boasted the largest tidal turbine capacity in the world at approximately 1.6 Mw. The device is grid connected through the tidal demo's existing infrastructure, weighs 325 tons, and is built to endure size 16 typhoons accompanied by 4 m waves.

- Constricted Channel: A channel where water flows quickly due to narrowing by the land
- River: Water flowing from land towards a larger body of water
