Mi1 Floating Turbine

A ducted cross-flow turbine design that is suitable for tidal or river applications. The power generating unit is mounted to a catamaran style floating platform. The turbine can be raised and lowered out of the water via a gantry lift system on the platform. The device uses a direct drive generator.
