GEM Hydro-Kinetic Turbine

The GEM Hydro-Kinetic Turbine is an Darrius Eggbeater style turbine with blades that fold inward as they advance into the flow and fold out as they retreat to catch the flow. The device is stated to operate in flows as low as 0.5 m/s and as high as 5.1 m/s flow and rate at 15 kW of power.
