The patent for the Hanna Wave and Tidal Energy turbine was sold to HydroWing, Ltd. in the UK. The name WETGEN is no longer in use as it was only relative to the HydroWing technology.
The company name has been changed to: Hanna Wave Energy Primary Drives. Presently, there are five proprietary WEC technologies being developed by John Clark Hanna.
 (1) A closed loop Mono-radial impulse turbine for surface, subsurface and shore-based applications: http://www.wetgen.com/closed_loop%20patent.htm
 (2) A Self Powered Autonomous Research (S.P.A.R.) buoy: http://www.wetgen.com/BUOY.htm.
 (3) A subsurface power buoy that uses the patented Hanna direct-drive PTO (US 8,745,981): http://www.wetgen.com/DoD.htm.
 (4) A bi-directional tidal energy turbine: https://www.wetgen.com/wetgen_page_2.htm .
