Quebec Crown Land Right-of-Way (3-QC-b)

In Quebec, there is not a specific provincial land right-of-way approval, however a developer must ensure that the bulk transmission project complies with provincial and local land use plans. The Quebec Department of Energy and Natural Resources manages provincial public land in Quebec.
Crown Land Right-of-Way Process
3-QC-b.1 – Contact Quebec Department of Energy and Natural Resources
The developer should contact the Quebec Department of Energy and Natural Resources to ensure the proposed project is in compliance with any provincial land access requirements.
3-QC-b.2 – Review Provincial and Local Land Use Plans
