The U.S. Department of Energy's Water Power Technologies Office announced the teams selected to participate in the 2024 Marine Energy Collegiate Competition. Managed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, the Marine Energy Collegiate Competition inspires multidisciplinary teams of undergraduate and graduate students to unlock the power of the ocean, rivers, and tides to develop, design, and test the technologies that build resilient coastal communities and provide power at sea.
