The New Brunswick – Electricity Act, S.N.B. 2013, c. E-4.6 established the New Brunswick Power Corporation (Corporation), which is the primary electrical utility in New Brunswick and the entity responsible for reliable operations of the Integrated Electricity System (IES) in New Brunswick.
