Summary

Miami-Dade County offers the Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program to residents on a first-come, first-serve basis. All purchases of Energy Star certified refrigerators and clothes washers after September 26, 2011 are eligible to participate in the program. Flat rebates of $200 for Energy Star refrigerators and $150 for Energy Star clothes washers are available.

To qualify, appliances must be purchased from a retail location within Miami-Dade County, must be new appliances, and must replace an existing appliance of the same type. Full rebate requirements, rules, and application instructions can be found on the program web site .
