Exploration Basis

This study was conducted by students and faculty at a Boise State University field camp. The goal of this magnetic study was to fill in the gaps from previous magnetic data taken by Clinton Colwell, a geophysics graduate student at Boise State University.

Notes

An 8.9 km profile was conducted from the power plant to the eastern edge of Bully Creek Reservoir. A base station was set up just to the south of the profile. Data processing and interpretations were made using Oasis Montage processing software. When the new data was integrated with the old data faults and changes in sedimentary formations could be interpreted.
