Summary
Eligible Wisconsin consumers who purchase and install certain qualifying energy efficient appliances can receive incentives through the Focus on Energy program. Products must meet minimum efficiency standards in order to qualify for rebates. As of July 2011, Focus On Energy rebates are being offered for water heaters and certain lighting fixtures. Water heater incentives range from $50 to $250 depending on the type of water heater and its efficiency. Incentives for fuel conversion from electric to a power vented natural gas water heater may be combined with the incentive for an efficient power vented gas water heater. Builders may receive incentives for installations in newly constructed homes. Lighting incentives are available for LED fixtures. Customers can receive $25 per fixture for up to 24 qualified LED light fixtures.FinditwithFocus.com has a list of retailers with current promotions.
