Summary

Electric transmission lines capable of operating at 69 kV or greater cannot be constructed along, across, or over any public highways or grounds outside of cities without a franchise from the Utilities Division, as discussed in this section. In some circumstances, an expedited franchise may be obtained for the upgrade of existing transmission lines operating at 34.5 kV to 69 kV.
