Summary
Efficiency Vermont operates a rebate program for dairy farm owners to allow them to install more energy efficient lighting, motors and other custom measures. Lighting improvements are offered a rebate without pre-approval and the applicant completes the application, linked above, attaching proofs of purchase for the installed measures. For motors, milk transfers, vacuums and custom measures, the farm should contact Efficiency Vermont for pre-approval and incentive amounts prior to purchase and installation. Only equipment used in renovation and retrofitting is eligible for this incentive.
