Summary

Dakota Electric Association provides financial incentives for commercial and industrial customers to increase the energy efficiency of eligible facilities. Examples of equipment and measures eligible for rebates:

  • adjustable speed drives
  • HVAC equipment
  • lighting retrofits
  • lighting in new buildings
  • motors
  • vending machine controls
  • heat pumps

Rebates are limited to 50% of the project cost up to a maximum of $100,000. Customers who wish to participate in this rebate program should call Dakota Electric Association before the new equipment is purchased to be sure there is still funding available. Information and applications for various rebates can be found on the web site listed above.
