Washington Clean Technology Alliance is a business alliance focused on advocacy, policy development and business development for clean technology organizations across the state of Washington. It is located in Seattle, Washington. The organization was founded in 2007 through a collaborative effort of business and economic development interests in the Greater Seattle/Puget Sound region. It was developed in response to a growing need in the region for an advocacy organization specifically focused on the emerging set of industries known collectively as clean tech, green tech or environmental technologies.


To secure the state’s position as a leader in clean technologies by supporting businesses to take full advantage of industry opportunities emerging in the region and around the world.
