Amanda Vanega joined the N.C. Solar Center in October 2008 as a policy analyst. She researches federal, state, local and utility incentives and policies for the Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE). For DSIRE, she focuses on Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Texas and U.S. Territories. She has developed expertise on small wind policies and incentives, third party ownership models, and Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing. She received her Master of Environmental Management from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University, and her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.
