Tennessee Board of Water Quality, Oil and Gas

The Tennessee Board of Water Quality, Oil and Gas holds hearings, discuss, and makes decisions on issues relating to the state's water quality, as well as oil and gas development. The Board consists of twelve members. Nine members are citizens appointed by the Governor for four-year terms and the other three are ex-officio members, with one each coming from the Tennessee Departments of Environment and Conservation, Health, and Agriculture.
