Description Performance-based incentive for non-profit and/or government systems. The $ amount per kWh generated for residential systems such that the incentive is disbursed over time based on metered productionorthe $ amount per kWh expected to be generated based on capacity, orientation, shading, etc., disbursed as an upfront incentive. A $/kWh incentive is considered to be a PBI if the generator is allowed to use the electricity on-site and the incentive is given for all electricity generated --used on site or exported as excess generation. Ex: WA’s Renewable Energy Production Incentive (REPI) program $0.15/kWh -$0.54/kWh, PNM’s customer solar PV program $0.13/kWh, CA’s California Solar Initiative (CSI) program for systems >50 kW (amt. varies by utility).
