Summary
Cowlitz PUD offers an incentive to builders of new Energy Star electrically heated, site-built homes in Cowlitz County. Rebates of up to $1,300 are available for each Energy Star home completed, verified, and certified before September 30, 2010. In order to qualify, builders must have a “Builder Partnership Agreement” in force with Northwest Energy Star Homes, and the home must have electric heat, either zonal or heat pump. Homes with ducted forced-air electric or gas furnaces are not eligible for the program. More information can be found on the program brochure.
