Programme Objective:
The objective of the Cities, Environment and Transport in the ASEAN Region (CET) programme is to reduce emissions from transport and industry by providing co-benefits for local and global environmental protection. The programme aims to strengthen human, regulatory and institutional capacities for environmental and climate protection at the regional, national and subnational level in the ASEAN region. It assists partner institutions in the region in improving air quality, promote energy efficient transport and increase competitiveness while simultaneously achieving greenhouse gas emission reductions.
