3M is a company located in St. Paul, MN.
In May, 2010 3M partnered with NREL in in the form of a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) [2]. The work ranges from jointly identifying and developing critical aspects of renewable energy technology to accelerated testing of 3M designs and scaling-up successful prototypes for commercial production. The total combined value of the shared R&D covered by the partnership agreements is US$7.33 million [3].
