Equipment Requirements Refrigerator, clothes washer, dishwasher and air conditioner must be ENERGY STAR rated

Water heater must be lifetime warranted, 85 or 105 gallon Marathon water heater.

Installation Requirements In order to receive water heater rebate, customer must enroll in the Off-Peak water heater program.

Willmar Municipal Utilities offer rebates on Energy Star rated appliances and air conditioners and Marathon water heaters. In addition to these rebates, WMU also offers a Load Sharing Program. Participating customers can receive a $10 per month credit on electric bills if they allow their water heaters to be energized only from 11:00 PM until 7:00 AM, and free load shifting equipment for air conditioners.
