Abstract
The Washington Governor's Office for Regulatory Innovation and Assistance protects state-owned aquatic lands in Washington and manages their use. In order to do this, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources issues Aquatic Use Authorizations for activities taking place on state-owned aquatic lands. An Aquatic Use Authorization can be acquired by submitting an application to the Department of Natural Resources Aquatic District Office. The application will be sent to the project site Land Manager who will review the proposed uses and confirm if land is available to lease.
