Upper Peninsula Power Company (UPPC) offers rebates, assistance and other incentives through the Efficiency United program, which is a partnership between 11 Michigan utilities. The program is intended to provide assistance and incentives to customers who install or employ energy efficient equipment or measures which save money and energy at home and at work.

The Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program is one part of this energy efficiency consortium. UPPC rebates on CFL bulbs, smart power strips, and energy star clothes washers are available to residential customers living in the eligible service area. Visit web site for more program information and to see application. Rebate eligibility depends on the efficiency rating of equipment purchased. Full list of equipment requirements can be found on application.

The Residential HVAC Program provides incentives to residential customers for installing energy efficient heating and cooling equipment. A $100 rebate is available for eligible central ac units and ECM blower motors. Incentives will be provided to the home owner and will be based on fulfilling energy efficiency standards. See Efficiency United web site listed above for forms, further details, program guidelines and incentives.
