ACE-II: Areas of Conservation Emphasis
Provides an easily-accessible and standardized way to view the best available statewide data on California's biological richness and biodiversity
CAPS: Crucial Areas Planning System
Online tool that maps crucial habitat as well as key wildlife connectivity areas in Montana. The aim of the mapping system is to consider fish, wildlife, and recreational resources earlier on when planning for future development.
CHAT: Crucial Habitat Assessment Tools
Online system of maps displaying crucial wildlife habitat and corridors across the West. While not intended for project-level approval, it is designed to reduce conflicts and surprises and ensuring wildlife values are incorporated into land use decision-making.
Recommendations developed by the EDTF on the type, quality, and source of data on land, wildlife, cultural, historical, archaeological, and water resources, exploring ways to transform that data into study cases to inform the 10-year transmission plan and integrate them into models.
Allows users to visually explore the distribution of Arizona’s wildlife, potential stressors to wildlife, the Species and Habitat Conservation Guide, and other relevant data.
Heritage Data Management System (HDMS) / Project Evaluation Program (PEP)
On-line environmental review tool that provides current, reliable, objective information on Arizona’s plant and wildlife species location and status to aid in the environmental decision making process. This information can be used to guide preliminary decisions and assessments of proposed land and water development, management, and conservation projects statewide, while incorporating fish and wildlife resource needs or features.
