This is the 'Definition' template. It is used to embed an existing definition in a wiki page of relevant content. This template is not used to define a term. To define a term, please use this form.


Note: Parameters can be called in numerical order, or using parameter name.

  1. Term - The term whose definition will be displayed.


It should be called in one of the following formats:

{{Definition|Term=Brayton cycle}}


This template will produce the following for an existing term:

Brayton cycle:
A thermodynamic cycle using constant pressure, heat addition and rejection. Fuel and a compressor are used to heat and increase the pressure of a gas; the gas expands and spins the blades of a turbine, which, when connected to a generator, generates electricity.
