The force of the flow of water impacting the turbine blades causes them to rotate The rotating blades are attached to a cylinder causing the cylinder to rotate Inside the cylinders a disk is attached to the walls This disk has 60 magnets radiating from the center to the periphery Oppposite to this rotating disk is a second disk with 60 coils this disk does not rotate The rotating magnetic disk act to induce a current in the coils An undersea transmission line takes power to a conditioner on shore The current is rectified and then inverted and transmitted to the load as standard 60 hz AC
