The study summarizes the results of detail … The study summarizes the results of detailed logging of subsurface samples from drilling into a portion of the Redondo Peak resurgent dome by Union Oil Company (UOC) as a part of a geothermal exploration and development program within what was known as the Baca project area (now referred to as the Redondo geothermal area). Of the >42,000 m of hole drilled over the course of the project, representative samples of over 21,000 m of rock were logged at 6 m to 3 m intervals. The lithology of the remainder of the holes was available as well logs produced by UOC geologists, and showed good agreement with the stratigraphic interpretations derived from detailed logging of the physical samples. detailed logging of the physical samples. +
