The Sierra Pacific Power Surebet program offers prescriptive and custom incentives for non-residential customer to reduce energy usage. The prescriptive rebate program targets lighting, motors, cooling and refrigeration. Custom rebates are also available for improvements that do not fall under the prescriptive rebate program. An eligible project will involve a capital improvement that reduces overall energy usage or peak hour energy usage and produces savings that are sustainable over at least five years. New facilities may be eligible if the improvement is not related to lighting. Applications and invoices must be filed with the SureBet program by December 1, 2008 or within 60 days following the installation of energy efficient measures.

More information about the Surebet program can be found at the program website.

  • Incentive and policy data are reviewed and approved by the N.C. Solar Center's DSIRE project staff.[1]
