Abstract
Certain activities may require a developer to obtain a Roadside Development Permit, such as building structures and excavating near provincial highways. The Roadside Development Permit Applications webpage provides links to five different types of roadside development permit applications and guidance to help developers determine which roadside development permits are applicable for different types of activities. A Utility Permit is required to install any utility along or across public highways including pipelines for water, sewer, oil or gas and above or below ground lines for power. A developer may access the Utility Permit Application through the link provided on the Roadside Development Permit Applications webpage.
