Land Use Plan: Saskatchewan – Town of Churchbridge Zoning Bylaw

Abstract

The purpose of this Bylaw is to regulate development and to control the use of land in the Town in accordance with the Town’s Official Community Plan (OCP). The intent of the Zoning Bylaw is to provide for the amenity of the area within the Town and for the health, safety and general welfare of the inhabitants of the Town and area: a) To minimize land use conflicts; b) To establish minimum standards to maintain the amenity of the Town; c) To ensure development is consistent with the physical limitations of the land; d) To restrict development that places undue demand on the Town for services; and

e) To provide for land use and development that is consistent with the goals and objectives of the Town.
