Land Use Plan: Saskatchewan – Town of Biggar Zoning Bylaw

Abstract

The purpose of this Bylaw is to regulate development and control the use of land in the Town of Biggar in accordance with the Town of Biggar Official Community Plan and the Bear Hills District Plan. The intent of this Zoning Bylaw is to provide for the amenity of the area within the Town of Biggar and for the health, safety, and general welfare of the inhabitants of Biggar and area. The purpose of this Bylaw is also: 1) To minimize land use conflicts; 2) To establish minimum standards to maintain the amenity of the Town; 3) To ensure development is consistent with the physical limitations of the land; 4) To restrict development that places undue demand on the Town for services; and, 5) To provide for land-use and development that is consistent with the goals and objectives of the

Town.
