This section establishes Reclamation Districts to conserve, develop, and stabilize supplies of water for domestic, irrigation, power, manufacturing and other beneficial uses. Reclamation Districts are established by petition, which must be signed by the owners of at least 30 percent of the land to be included in the district. The Department of Natural Resources has the authority to approve or deny petitions.
