The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is the state agency responsible for the regulation of all fishing and boating in the state of Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, which regulates fishing, is separate from the state's game commission. The mission of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is to protect, conserve, and enhance the state's aquatic resources and provide fishing and boating opportunities. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is an independent state agency comprised of 10 Commissioners appointed by the state Governor and approved by the state Legislature.
