This section establishes the state's interest in encouraging the development, production, and utilization of natural gas and oil resources in a manner which will prevent waste and lead to the greatest ultimate recovery of these resources, and encourages and to authorizes cycling, recycling, pressure maintenance and secondary recovery operations to obtain the greatest possible economic recovery of oil and gas. The statute also establishes the Nebraska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission to oversee and regulate the use of these resources in the state.
