McMinnville Water and Light Company offers a variety of rebates for commercial and industrial customers to make energy efficient improvements to eligible facilities. MW&L offers rebates in three categories: Lighting retrofits, motor replacements, and process efficiency. Past lighting projects have included fluorescent lighting retrofits, mercury vapor replacements to high efficiency metal halide, and high pressure sodium lights and dimming and lighting control upgrades. For the process efficiency program, MW&L will evaluate the facility's equipment or processes to determine if there is an opportunity to improve the equipment efficiency. MW&L will make recommendations for improvements and perform an economic analysis to see if the project is cost effective. Energy loans are also available from MW&L for energy efficiency improvements and are available to individuals, businesses, schools, cities, counties, special districts, state and federal agencies, public corporations, cooperatives, tribes, and nonprofits. Interested customers should contact the utility for more information.
