Permitting/Regulatory Guidance - Guide/Handbook: Massachusetts Energy Facilities Siting Board – The Energy Facilities Siting Handbook

Abstract
There are many federal, state and local agencies that regulate the construction and operation of power plants, electric transmission lines, natural gas pipelines and natural gas storage facilities in Massachusetts. This handbook provides information about one such agency -- the Massachusetts Energy Facilities Siting Board. It includes an introduction to the Siting Board, a detailed description of the Siting Board's review process, and an explanation of the various ways to participate in that process. Further information is available at the Siting Board’s website at http://www.mass.gov/eea/energy-utilities-clean-tech/energyfacilities-siting-board.
