Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE)

The Latin America Energy Organization, or OLADE, was formed in response to the energy crisis of the 1970s. Since then, the organization's constitution, the Lima Agreement has been ratified by 26 member countries of Latin America and the Caribbean and 1 participating country.[2]

OLADE is technical and political support organization for countries undertaking common efforts to achieve integration and development in the regional energy market.[2]
