Indiana Michigan Power offers rebates, assistance and other incentives through the Efficiency United program, which is a partnership between 11 Michigan utilities. The program is intended to provide assistance and incentives to customers who install or employ energy efficient equipment or measures which save money and energy at home and at work. The Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program is one part of this energy efficiency consortium. Indiana Michigan Power (IMP) rebates on CFL bulbs, smart power strips, and energy star clothes washers are available to residential customers living in the IMP service area.

The Residential HVAC Program provides incentives to residential customers for installing energy efficient central air conditioning units and ECM blower motors. Incentives will be provided to the home owner and will be based on fulfilling energy efficiency standards.
