Hutchinson Utilities Commission (HUC) offers rebates to commercial customers in Hutchinson who perform energy conservation improvements to their businesses. These rebates are limited to one application and no more than $2,000 for each commercial service address. Rebates are available for a variety of energy efficient equipment including lighting; HVAC and cooling technologies; motors, pumps, and variable frequency drives; and refrigeration and restaurant equipment. The [ Prescriptive Rebate Program list] has details on equipment type, size, and rebate amounts. Applications must include an original itemized sales receipt and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Special equipment upgrades not listed on the program website and projects that require rebates above $2,000 may be eligible for custom rebates on a case-by-case basis.
