Pull-Apart in Strike-Slip Fault Zone

Pull-aparts are dilatational features that form along offset fault segments in strike-slip fault zones. Pull-aparts form at right-stepping offsets of dextral fault systems or at left-stepping offsets of sinistral fault systems, resulting in localized crustal extension and enhanced permeability.[2]
