Summary
North St Paul Electric Utility, in conjunction with the Minnesota Municipal Power Agency offers incentives for its residential customers to install energy efficient equipment in their homes. Rebates are available for qualifying central A/C units, refrigerators, clothes washers, dishwashers and window air conditioners. All equipment must be Energy Star rated. North St Paul Electric Utility also offers a rebate for customers to have a central A/C tune-up performed. The tune-up must be performed by a licensed and insured heating/cooling contractor and must meet a list of minimum service requirements listed on the program website.
Customers must apply for rebates within one year of the purchase date shown on the sales receipt. Rebate requests are processed on a "first-come first-serve" basis. Funding for rebate program is limited and any rebate requests received after the funding limit has been reached will not be approved. More information, including application forms, is located on the program website.
