Abstract
The Land Act is the principal mechanism for provincial agencies to establish land use regulations. For example, the Ministry of Forest, Land, and Natural Resource Operations uses this process to establish ‘‘Old Growth Management Areas’’ that restrict logging and development in certain forests.
