Any content to be included in the OpenEI platform must give attribution to a reliable and verifiable source. In particular, content that is likely to be challenged must have a verifiable source. Verifiability is a principal core policy of the OpenEI platform.

To learn more about how to give attribution and providing citations see Help:Citations. When content is found where no reference is given, please consider marking it with Template:citation needed. If content is found where the source provided cannot be verified, please consider marking it with Template:citation incomplete.

For further information please refer to the model for this policy, Wikipedia's Verifiability policy.[1]
