Journal Article: On Ir Imagery And Its Application To The Mapping Of Geothermal Distributions

Abstract
The writers introduce case histories of IR geologic study in Japan and mention some future aspects of further study. They also show several examples of IR images and give short comments on them from a geologic standpoint. The IR images were obtained by means of InSb detectors. The images give the approximate thermal distribution of the earth surface investigated. Factors which influence the imagery are outlined, but not discussed in connection with the presented images.
