This technical assistance is intended to support the government of Ghana in articulating its approach to low carbon growth as part of the National Climate Change Policy Framework. It aims at doing so by simultaneously building technical capacity, political awareness and a sound fact base. The work is led by ECN and involves Ghanaian national experts and stakeholders. It is funded by DFID.

The project includes four elements: 1. Initial marginal abatement cost (MAC) curve for Ghana 2. Characterize and prioritize mitigation options 3. Initial scoping of a Climate Innovation Centre 4. Supporting the policy process
