China-Low Carbon Development Zones

From Open Energy Information

"Building on the successful work of the Interdependencies on Energy and Climate Security for China and Europe project, this 18 month project with E3G, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the Chinese Energy Research Institute (ERI), will focus on four key areas - low carbon zones; harmonization of energy efficiency standards; scaling up EU-China technical and financial cooperation in areas such as carbon labelling and carbon markets; and lessons for other developing countries.

This project is part of the official Sino-UK and Sino-EU climate partnerships and is supported by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the UK in cooperation with the National Development and Reform Commission of China."
